Some container runtimes, notably Podman, require file system features that are
not available in ``initrootfs``. Cluster nodes using Podman (and some other
container runtimes) should be configured with ``--root=tmpfs``.
Container runtimes such as Podman require filesystem features — most notably
OverlayFS support for image storage and container layers — that are not
available with the default ``initramfs`` root filesystem. To run Podman or
similar runtimes on cluster nodes, configure the node or profile to use
``tmpfs`` as the root filesystem:
