logging
=======
You can control the logging verbosity using the ``WAREWULFD_LOGLEVEL``
environment variable.
The best place to set this is in ``/etc/default/warewulfd``, which is
sourced by the ``warewulfd.service`` systemd unit via the EnvironmentFile
directive.
By default, the log level is ``wwlog.INFO`` (20), and the messages are logged at
either ``INFO`` or ``SERV`` (25).
Setting the log level to ``WARN`` (30) should suppress ``INFO`` and ``SERV``
while still surfacing more important issues.
To do that, execute the following commands:
.. code-block:: console
echo WAREWULFD_LOGLEVEL=30 >> /etc/default/warewulfd
systemctl restart warewulfd.service
